I’m Jena – I’m based in Langford, BC, and I’m so excited to share a little bit about what I’ve been working toward!

If you know me, you probably know I love anything design-related, creative projects, and finding ways to make things feel a little more intentional. I’m also a total dog person (we are partial to dachshunds but love dogs of all shapes and sizes 🐶), and I tend to fall down rabbit holes when something really sparks my interest… which is exactly what happened with colour analysis.

For years, I’ve found myself second-guessing things like my hair colour,

the clothes I buy, and even the tones I gravitate toward…and still feeling like something was just a little off. Not bad – just not quite me.

So naturally, I tried to figure it out myself – I went down the rabbit hole of apps, TikTok filters, even ChatGPT… and somehow kept getting different answers every time 🙃

And that’s when it really clicked for me: there isn’t a reliable shortcut for this. Colour analysis actually requires seeing how real fabrics interact with your skin in proper lighting – it’s not something technology can fully replicate (at least not yet).

And I kept thinking… if I’m struggling to figure this out, I’m probably not the only one.

That curiosity is what led me here. Colour analysis is something I’ve been interested in for years, and I’ve finally decided to take the leap and learn how to do it properly – so I can help others feel more confident, aligned, and (of course) glowing in their everyday life.

I’ll be training in Toronto with Karen Brunger of the International Image Institute – someone who is widely considered one of the leading experts in colour analysis, not just in Canada but internationally.

She’s been shaping the industry for decades, developing advanced colour systems and training thousands of consultants around the world. What I love most is that her approach goes beyond guesswork or trends – it’s precise, methodical, and rooted in truly understanding how colour interacts with each individual.

Getting to learn from her directly feels like an incredible opportunity, and it also means I’ll be able to offer a level of accuracy and care that’s hard to achieve without that kind of training.

With all that said: I’ll be sharing updates along the way, and I’ll also be offering significantly reduced pricing for my first handful of clients while I build and refine my process 👀✨
